Neha Dhupia is working hard on her hatke role of a back row dancer in Pappu Can't Dance Saala.

Neha Dhupia is working hard on her hatke role of a back row dancer in Pappu Can’t Dance Saala. A source close to the actress said, “Neha did a thorough research on back dancers before embarking on the role.

She met and interacted with them on a close level. Neha wanted to know the kind of lifestyle they had.

Neha even adopted the kind of look back dancers had. “Neha coloured her hair red because she noticed that all those back dancers that she had met had that colour. Neha also observed that most back row dancers had a habit of chewing gums while waiting for the shot on the sets.

Neha adopted that style for her character too.” By the end of it Neha had become one with the back dancers so much so that her costar Vinay Pathak failed to recognize her on the sets. “Once Vinay did not recognize Neha at all and took her to be a back row dancer. It was only Neha began talking to him did he realize her presence,” said the source.

Neha breaks down on the sets of ‘I Think I Am 24′

Neha Dhupia recently crocked up on the sets of her forthcoming movie “I Think I Am 24”. It became quite a difficult situation for Neha as they were shooting an important sequence for the movie. The crew got manic and left everybody worried about her. The shooting had to be halted for sometime. Seeing her condition, in no time the producer and director Saurabh Shukla ran for her rescue. Neha Dhupia soon caught up her breath and got back to normality after taking a break of around 2 hours.

Describing this atrocious experience, Neha Dhupia says, “I got enervated, and I fell on the floor. But the crew of the movie was really supportive and helpful to bring me back to the toes. But I was happy that shooting wasn’t called off because of me and we resumed back to the sequence.”

When today no actress leaves an opportunity to throw conniptions while shooting a film, Neha deserves clapping for being professional.

Ranvir carries ‘Mithya’ with brilliance

ilm: “Mithya”; Cast: Ranvir Shorey, Neha Dhupia, Vinay Pathak, Irawati Harshe, Harsh Chhaya and Naseeruddin Shah; Director: Rajat Kapoor; Ratings: ***
Lucky are we, the famished cineastes, to get two films that merit more than a passing glance within one week - Rajat Kapoor’s “Mithya” and Rohit Jugraj’s “Superstar”.
Alas, no luck for the poor and damned Bollywood struggler VK (Ranvir Shorey) in Kapoor’s mellow, modern, mythic and mildly majestic “Mithya”.
Ranvir, who specialises in playing urban losers, plays the kind of Kafkaesque hero whose shoes you’d never like to be in. Unless you’re a sucker for misery, pain and doom.
Director Rajat Kapoor pieces together a melancholic, deeply metaphorical and yet straightforward tale of moral redemption.

"Everyone would love to miss ECKLL" - Neha Dhupia

"Everyone would love to miss ECKLL" - now when the lead actress of the film makes a statement like this, the makers of the film would certainly be caught shivering. But this time around, the statement is not meant to be taken literally since Neha Dhupia says so not for the film but the actual miss out of a train.
On being asked the reason behind making such a statement she laughs saying, "Yes, people would really-really love to miss their last local at 1:40 AM once they watch the film." And why is that so? "Haven't you read the punch line of the film which says - 'dhaaye ghante, dhaaye crore' [2.5 hours, 2.5 crores]?" she questions amusedly.
Well we have? "In that case let me tell you that the lead pair in the film gets richer by 2.5 crores due to the situations that arrive after they have missed their last local train at 1:40 AM. The manner in which they earn this money is so exciting that everyone would love to hop on to the journey as taken by them. And the only way to do this is by missing the train and living through the experience!"
